I qualified as a piano tuner and technician at the Piano Tuner Academy in Newport, UK.
I also hold a Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering. My lifelong love for pianos inspired me and led me to learn all about how pianos are constructed and operate. There is a significant amount of mechanical engineering involved in piano actions and in the sound theory and my master degree helped me to understand even the minute details involved.
For my birthday I received a box of bits and a large manual... few days later the result was astounding: a self-playing Lego piano!!! (photo)
